IFC: We won at home to Doohamlet in the Intermediate Football Championship last Sunday. We hit the net three times in the opening quarter through Shea Corrigan, Éimhín Morahan and Fionán Ó Gallchóir and we went on to lead by 3-8 to 1-7 at half-time, with Daragh Croarkin, Jake McConnon, Kevin Loughran and John McCrystal adding their names to the scoresheet. Seán Callan, Dean Doherty and Conor McCrystal took our number of scorers into double figures during the second half as we pulled away to win by 3-20 to 1-13. Our last IFC Group Two game is away to Emyvale on Sunday, September 6.

Reserves: Our Division 3B team drew away to Inniskeen last Sunday. Goals by Shay Cooney and Luke Coyle helped us into an early lead and although Inniskeen moved ahead late on, a Niall Greenan goal and another late two-pointer by Shane McGarry saw us earn a draw at 3-13 to 2-16. We are due to host Scotstown this Saturday.

U-16: Our U-16 Division One team qualified for their championship semi-finals with a good win at home to Donaghmoyne on Thursday evening. Goals by Tiernan Cleary-Keenan, Séadanta Ó Grianna and Kyron Coughlan and some excellent points from Gabriel Cunningham helped our lads to a 3-8 to 3-6 lead at the end of an exciting first half. A couple of great saves by Daniel Treanor and goals by Calum McCaffrey, Conall McGinnity and Callum McCullagh were the highlights of a strong second-half performance by our lads as they finished the group stage with five points.
