IFC: We have been drawn in Group Two of the Intermediate Football Championship, where we will face Ballybay, Doohamlet, Éire Óg and Emyvale. The opening round is set for the weekend of August 8/9.
Reserves: Our Division 3B team are away to Truagh this Sunday.
Minors: Our minors host Sarsfields Shamrocks in a Shield semi-final next Tuesday evening.
U-16: Our U-16 Division One team host Magheracloone in the first round of their championship on Thursday evening. The Division Four championship begins on Friday to Magheracloone (please note change of venue). Good luck to our players and management.
U-14: Our U-14 Division One team host Clontibret in round two of their championship on Saturday. The Division Five lads are at home to Truagh on Sunday.
U-12: Our U-12 teams were back in action last weekend against Emyvale in Division One and Castleblayney in Division Six.
Last Man Standing: Our senior footballers’ fundraising Last Man Standing competition for the World Cup concluded last week. Congratulations to the overall winner, Philip Cassidy! Thanks to everyone who entered.
All-Ireland Final tickets: As part of our Film Awards Fundraiser, our Monaghan Harps contingent in America took on to run a draw in New York for two All-Ireland Hurling and two All-Ireland Football Final tickets in February of this year. Many thanks to Gareth Treanor, Mustafa Gamal, Brendan Scott, Liam McNeilis, Gerry McEntee and Gary Murphy for their time and effort.
