Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday’s draw were 2, 18, 26 and 30. Jackpot of €3,000 not won. This week’s four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Ann Treanor c/o herself; Paula McGinn c/o Ann Treanor; Mícheál Mac Airt c/o ClubZap; and Saoirse & Croía Treanor c/o Ann Treanor. The sellers’ prize of €20 was won by Séamus Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, July 19 is €3,100. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our Lotto and to the committee and the regular helpers for their efforts in keeping the show on the road and providing essential funding towards our development work over the last three decades. We would greatly appreciate if every family involved in the club would consider setting up a recurring Lotto entry via ClubZap. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

IFL: We were pipped by Aughnamullen in last Saturday’s Intermediate Football League quarter-final. After a slow start, scores from John McCrystal, Daragh Croarkin, Dylan McKenna, Dara Mullin, Shane Moran and Dylan McKenna brought us back into the game, as we trailed by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time. A two-pointer from the returning Éimhín Morahan levelled it up after the restart, but Aughnamullen responded with a string of scores to open up a ten-point lead. Our lads kept plugging away, with a Dylan McKenna goal and further scores from Oisín Fagan, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Lochlainn Power closing the gap, but after a dramatic finish, Aughnamullen held on to win by 1-18 to 1-16.
