IFL: We host Tyholland in the Intermediate Football League on Friday night. All support appreciated.
Reserves: A busy schedule of games for our reserve teams included two championship quarter-finals over the weekend. First up was an O’Duffy Cup clash with Clontibret on Friday. Points by Fionán Ó Gallchóir, Oisín Fagan, Cian Bradley, Eoin O’Hanlon and Dara Mullin had us level at half-time. A Niall Greenan goal and further scores from Shea Corrigan and Fionán had us narrowly ahead well into the second half, but Clontibret finished strongly to win by 3-12 to 1-16.
Team and scorers: Jason Allister; Max Mallen, Shane Moran, Ethan McCaffrey; Conor Devlin (Capt.), Jake McConnon, Oisín Fagan (0-1); Shea Corrigan (0-1), Daniel Alexis; Shane McGarry, Cian Bradley (0-1), Eoin O’Hanlon (0-2); Fionán Ó Gallchóir (0-7, 2f), Niall Greenan (1-2), Dara Mullin (0-2).

Our McKeown Cup team hosted Toome on Sunday. After trailing by five points at half-time, we worked our way back into contention, with Shane McGarry leading our nine scorers as we forced extra-time. A Cian Bradley goal edged us ahead, but Toome’s ability to hit the net proved decisive.

U-16: Our U-16 Division One team booked their place in the league semi-finals with a hard-earned draw away to Castleblayney last Thursday. A strong first-half performance put our lads ahead, but Blayney battled back to level it up by the end. The league semi-finals will take place after the exam break.
U-14: Our U-14 Division One team had a hard-earned win away to Carrickmacross on Saturday. The Division Five lads fell narrowly short against Truagh, as did the Division Seven lads against Inniskeen.
