While the Harvest Time Blues Festival takes place in town, we also have a busy weekend as a club, both on and off the pitch. 

As part of our Oskars campaign, each film group has been running their own innovative events and fundraisers. Last weekend’s schedule featured a well-received whiskey and gin tasting night in the clubhouse on Friday and a well-supported car wash on Saturday. Another busy few days includes the ‘Calendar Girls’ group hosting a table quiz from 9pm tonight (Friday) and a breakfast morning this Sunday from 9.30am to 12 noon. Both events take place in our clubhouse and all support would be appreciated. Meanwhile, our Monaghan Harps Lotto jackpot for Sunday is €5,900. 

On the pitch, our senior and minor footballers have important championship games at home this Saturday:
MFC Division One v Castleblayney at 12pm
IFC v Killanny at 3pm
The Ladies’ JFC continues on Sunday with another home game v Killeevan at 3pm.
