Monaghan Harps Hurling Club had a very successful year in 2021. Some of the key highlights include:
• 30 new members being part of the club with 20 new juveniles taking part in under age hurling;
• Senior team winning the Junior Hurling Championship which is the first piece of silverware for the senior team since 2013;
• Ciaran McQuaid and Conor Flynn winning All Star Awards and representing the club;
• 10 new coaches including players and parents completing coaching courses to train our juvenile teams;
• Four weeks of voluntary hurling coaching at the local schools;
• The club supporting Team Hope with the Shoebox Appeal by receiving and creating 56 Shoeboxes from the community to donate to Team Hope; and
• Luke Mulligan being award volunteer of the year for his continuous contribution to the club in 2021.
